Last pic is insane! Not a sign of algae. So clean. Wow!

Very nice accomplishment. Any setbacks that you had and can share such as Fighting algae, aiptasia, loss of corals, loss of fish etc?

And what has been your secret ingredient would you say?

Also, looks like your coralline is coming in nicely, how long did it take for you to start seeing that?

Sifting through the trove of information out there and committing to a logical path and not seeking confirmation bias helped. I did a few months without lights. COPEPODS and daily phyto (I do weekly phyto now). I’m right next to the tank most of the day. No secret ingredient really.

Setbacks have been minor-ish, but ever present. N and P have always been concerningly low. Have aptasia, but they’re gentiles and remain in the overflow. Only fish loss was a beautiful male watanabae out of the blue 6 mos in. Maybe one or two dying corals on arrival that didn’t rebound (most do). I had a giant NY knicks torch, then a nice grail spontaneously combust in 24 hours in an island of torches doing well. Who knows on that one…

This is impressive for just being a year old! Keep up the great work, looks like you're doing everything right!
