Hi all,

Thanks for having me. As the title says I've made the jump from freshwater. My son has recently been diagnosed with autism and really wanted a "nemo" fish. I thought it would be great opportunity to teach him some responsibility and to give us something to do together (I'm sure he will love all the numbers involved in checking parameters). I've got a Fluval Evo 13.5 on the way so thought I'd join before it arrives. A little about me. I live in Tokyo so finding information, things I need and reasonably priced goods can be difficult.
I look forward to sharing my saltwater adventure with you and look forward to your support.

Thanks again,

Tim

I also own a fluval tank. Check out inTank Aquatics website and the “media basket” they make for the tank. Quite an upgrade over the sponge that comes with the tank.

Thanks. I’ve looked into them. I’ll be getting one for chamber 1 but do you think it’s worth getting one for chamber 2 as well?
