Working on a diy skimmer.

parts - eshopps psk-200, magdrive 9.5

mating the two parts has its challenges. What if I run the pump directly in to the bottom of skimmer, could add a T or one of those skimmer wheels with holes.

Skimmer already needs to be elevated in sump. Proper height is 7-9 inches, sump is 12-14 deep.

Can anyone see reason not todo this??

That is not the sump to be used, skimmer is sitting on a 10 gallon sump being cut up for parts. May use it big sump to elevate skimmer.
