Still lights off, but my jumper clown looks ok this morning. Thankfully.

I was hoping to call the lfs today to see what they got in. Hoping for some new additions. The big tank looks so empty. But I was going to make sure the clown looks good before I add anything, I don't want to stress her out.

Oh look, I do have a royal gramma. This is my least seen fish. 90% hiding in the last tank, but sightly more active in this one.

Probably don't do a Springeri Dottyback if you have a Royal Gramma

Yeah although I do love the dottybacks colors I was not planning on mixing with my current lineup.

You could get a larger nano if you really want one ;)

Got the tomini tang. Saw 2 Fox faces, but they were twice the size of the small tang so I'll wait. Did see the springeri damsels but still in shipping bags so I didn't get them either. I might check on them tomorrow.

So I've gotten a few good looks at my new friend. Definitely a pretty guy. No blemishes or questionable spots so that's good considering I dumped him in. He's checked out other tank mates and pecked on rocks. Still scared of me, but with time food will change that. Did get nori and have flake and frozen options too.

Question, I've never fed nori, is it just tear a chunk off and clip to the side or is rubber banding to a rock the preferred method?

Either will work, but would adjust him better on rock, may be scared of clip at 1st... ;) :)

Well I did not get any damsels. I could not confirm that they were the true springeri type or some other blue variety. I did get pics and a video but the tanks were a little dirty so I don't think they'll pass as a good ID pic. In the pics the tail looks yellow but in person they were clear with a blue tint.

In other news, I finally got my African violet to bloom again. It's a pretty one!

Good call. Those are not Springeri.
