Just tested my water tonight. My magnesium is 1705. That is really high right? Is that a problem? What should I do? Calcium was 443 and alkalinity was 9.0. I am using Hanna checkers.

What test kit did you use ?
Hanna magnesium checker. I have only 3 small corals. Magnesium was low so I have been dosing it with my reef doser. But today it went up a lot.

How old is the tank? Looks like that purple dry rock? Also what are you dosing into your tank?

I’ve read Hanna mag can be tricky. Some inverts might be at risk. But a water change will help.

Tank is 3-4 months old. Yes purple dry rock. I am dosing magnesium, alkalinity, and calcium. Just turned it all if because levels are all good but the magnesium is high.

With those corals you could probably keep stable mag with weekly water changes as well.

I don't think you should be dosing magnesium at all at this point. Magnesium drains really slowly in most tanks from my experience.

Frog looks still open, duncan aswell (maybe a bit deflated)

But a few 20% water changes over a week will bring you back to norm levels
Well that was earlier today. This is what they look like now. Night time.

Shut your doser off . Start doing small water changes over the next few days . Mag will come down naturally over time but at 1700 you want to try to get it as close to 1400 or even 1500 and then wait for it to dissipate on its own from their
