Magnesium supplement

Hey everyone!

I need to start dosing magnesium because my all for reef cannot seem to keep up with the coral demand. I tested my parameters today:
Alkalinity 9.4 (was 8.5 last time I checked)
Calcium 400 (slowly coming back up)
Magnesium 1140 (wont come up)

I test usually around once a week and the all for reef is doing its job for alkalinity and calcium but cannot keep up with the mag. Any suggestions on what to use?

AFR may be slightly low in magnesium for some tanks, but to get that low you’d need to have dosed a lot of it for a long time, or the salinity is low to start with.

Mag kits are often very inaccurate and I don’t even measure it. Before dosing it, check your kit on your new salt water.
