I am planning an epaulette shark grow out tank that is 5ft x 2 ft x 1.5 ft LWH and I would like to try and reduce the amount of electrical and magnetic fields in and around the tank. I am aware that the amount of field that is produced by the equipment is minimal, however, when it comes to mounting wave makers, that of course not only requires magnets, but requires me to mount it to a back and side which is quite limited. A closed loop to reduce the need for a wave maker is my current solution, but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do and if there was any other source of electric or magnetic interference I can reduce?
I am also going to have some kind of grounding device in the tank to completely reduce electrical current in the tank. I'm aware the measure are potentially overkill but I do plan on potentially doing a week with/without the grounding device to see if it does make a difference.
I am having the tank custom built and will build the stand/enclosing cabinet myself so holes can be drilled if necessary.
