Just bought a magnificent fox face and a blue hippo tang. They are in a 50 gallon quarantine tank, which is probably a little small along with a scopas tang and a eibli angel, which have been in there for a couple of months. Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are zero both the new fish ate well at the LFS and the hippo tank is a voracious eater. The fox face is chasing food, but not eating frozen mysis . no evidence of any external parasites. at the LFS he ate mysis shrimp well . I’ve had the two new fish for two days. Nobody’s picking on them . He’s about 3 inches long looks skinny but no other obvious problems. Also not really eating spectrum pellet food or algae pellets. Any suggestions?

If he ate mysis at the store, he’ll eat in your tank. He’ll get hungry.
Wait him out.

Will do “the wife” just checked in and said he ate something so I may have posted a little bit early. I’ll watch him closely. Thank you for responding so quickly.
Have any nori? Mine will destroy some nori even after he's been stressed by something.

Order it on amazon.
