Cost so far
New tank (cracked the first one drilling) $14
Plumbing parts and paint $24
bulk head $4
Stand $20
trim and paint for the stand $24
Sand(I wanted blackish sand) $18

total $104

All done with equip ment now it is time to call my friend Jgonzz and get some acros and get them in my frag tank!

Looking great so far, like the idea of the canopy flipping back should make things easier when working in the tank, I would think :D

So had a problem..:( I pushed my luck the other tank had a small crack from drilling and well yep...lol 3 tanks in and I got one not to crack when we drilled it. I had or made almost every thing. the tank is one that anyone can buy at petsmart. drilled it and made my overflow. Then took a kitchen wall cabinet and fabed it for the tank. The sump fit with little to spare. Then made the flip canopy that has a 120w evo led about 12" off the water.
I am very happy with the tank, this contest made me make the nano I wanted so no matter the outcome I win. I made a video so people can see how things work.
