I use portland cement and marine sand in 50/50 mix.

To make the mold I used 1/4 inch rubber. I cut the desired holes with home made punches. I used rubber cement to glue the 2 layers together. Make sure to rough up the surfaces before glueing. Let the glue cure out.

Let the cement mixure cure in the mold for 48 - 72 hrs at room temp.

Soak the new plug in FW for 4 to 6 week change the water weekly. I add 1 cup of white vinegar per gallon of FW.
