Making 10g ato resivor

I thought about getting two 10 gal aquarium. Take the bottom off one and put it on the top of the other and remove the side glass so i can stand it upright as a ato resivor having the opening on top. The big box has half off tanks, two 10s are $30

Seems like a lot of work. Why wouldn't you just buy a 20gal?

Yes you're correct, I wouldn't have the room for a 20g.
