I made my own magnetic stirrer from parts of an old computer. If anyone wants I can do a write-up on how to make one. To buy the parts would be like $10 - $15. Let me know.
Did you by chance use the cooling fan ha! If so, I've got 3 laying around here and that would be too awesome if it works.

Thank you for posting the link. I also ordered a 10 pk of the 10 mm stirrer bars just in case I lost one. link
Made a beaker rack Monday for the beakers.

Tip: I keep my stir bars in a eye glass case

Totally cool! I also use the Red Sea test kits. Do you need the beakers or will it work with the Red Sea vials?

I ordered up everything exactly as you listed and couldn't be happier with the results. My Red Sea kits are matching much closer to the Hanna checkers than ever before. I'm much more confident in the Red Sea readings now. I only got the digital Hanna's due to my uncertainty with the Red Sea colors.

The vials will work, I just went over the top with the beakers:)

Thank you for sharing the results compared to Hanna. That is good to know.
