Male Clown Attacking my RBTA

I was wondering is it normal for the male clown to attack the nem? If not what can I do to prevent it without taking that fish out of tank?
He has been just recently biting off the tentacles of the nem for the past month now?

Yes specifically Clarkies . They get too excited and can harm the anemone .

Moved to the Anemone and Clownfish forum. How much damage is the clown doing to the anemone? What type of clown is it?

I have a oscalir clown. well it nips of at least one tentacal every 2 days or so.

wow, that is interesting I have had tons of clowns and anemones and never seen this happen. I didnt know this was something you had to watch out for

oo It happens usually its the female because she is supposed to be the more aggressive on, but it's my male and he takes at least one tentical every week even every other day some times. I thought maybe he was just grooming it, but then I noticed a big patch gone. I was wondering what the heck I was getting mad about it because I don't want the nem to die, but so far so good.
