Is it possible to just add a captive bred mandarin and not go through the whole process and be successful, any suggestions are welcome also if i have live rock on top and bottom will it produce copes?
These fish are not immune but resistant to disease and assure the fish is from healthy stock and has lots of food sources such as pods and baby brine

What process are you speaking of? The quarantine process? You can add copepods.
Well of course I did the research cause I heard how hard it is, but if that's it I'll just start sending my rock while acclimating that and when put rick in tank I'll continue to seed until I think its enough I guess iv read were you should add plankton if its that hard I dont want to kill a fish because I did the wrong thing thanks utub

You definitely want to have a very mature tank for a mandarin goby. I wouldn’t have that be the first fish you add.

It's safest to get a very healthy breeding population of pods in an appropriately sized tank before adding a mandarin, even a captive bred one. There's no guarantee that they will continue eating prepared foods after you add them to your tank.

What size is your tank? You'll want a mature tank with plenty of live rock and an abundance of copepods.
