Picked up this guy at my lfs. Concerned about its stress level as it’s been hanging in the back of the tank since Sunday breathing like this. Haven’t noted him pecking at anything. Per lfs he was doing well and even eating Pac Pods. Moved him to this acclimation box today. How long do they usually take to acclimate

breathing heavy is cause for concern. why put him in the acclimation box? unless another fish is pestering him, that will likely only stress him out more. Do you have other fish, are they all doing fine?
