Started a 60 gallon tank. At this point it’s just a coral tank. It’s been up and running for 6+ months and has torches, alveopora, Duncans, candy canes, and lots of zoas. I’ve added pods intermittently and feed with plankton and nutrients.

I decided to add a mandarin because I love them - they are my favorite fish. I have one wild caught (unfortunately had trouble finding aquacultured locally) and added him yesterday. He seems to be settling in well.

1. Will he be okay alone? Happy with no tank mates? I kind of want him to be fat and happy with no pod competition.

2. If I added something else for variety what would be good that wouldn’t touch his pods?

3. Could I have other mandarins? A female blue mandarin with him or other types like red or the green ?

Thank you!
