I was wondering if anybody knew how to build one. I think I know but I am not sure where to get the John Guest fittings. Does Home Depot have them? Also if anyone could list the plumbing parts that would be a big help.

There are several different ways to make a manifold. Some just use Tee's from PVC plumbing and connect them and then get the ball valves for them. Some people buy the Manifolds pretty much already made as well.

what the pre-made Manifolds? Do a search on google for them. They are used alot of the time in the spa, pool, and pond business. Most if not all of them won't come with the shut off valves though. Here is one place that I found to have more than most: Product Listing - PVC-Manifolds

Hope to help

I just went to the hardware store (Lowes) and started
putting fittings together until I had what I needed.

It is basically just Ts and valves.

Look for the valves that have threads on them so you can
screw yout fittings in that way you can change them around.

When I have a plumbing project I just go into the plumbing isle and
"build It" (mock it up) while I'm there that way I get the right parts.

Everything was bought at Lowe's, except the bulkheads. What are you building a manifold for?

I made mine with stuff from lowes, figure on spending a lot of time there. I walked around the isles for a couple hours before it was all done. Oh yeah, dont plan on it being one trip either.

I just wanter around Lowes looking
for alternate uses for the things there.

Also check out the Electrical PVC stuff.

You can make bulkheads out of the electrical threaded
couplers since they are a straight thread not a tapered
thread as with the plumbing PVC.
