Hey R2R! So, this is my first reef tank and I thought it would be cool to share it with the community. Although I've maintained a marine tank in the past, this whole world of corals and the plethora of types, colors, sizes, etc., is an entirely new adventure for me.
I spent many hours watching videos on Youtube and reading posts on R2R to understand how I would get started and help me plan my build. I thought I would start off with a 75g tank to help me get through the learning curve and gain experience before I go any bigger. I've had my tank up and running for a couple of months now, and I must say that I'm happy with it so far.

So, let's take a look at the tank and what I currently have in it:

Tank Size and Dimensions: 75 Gallons - 48"x18"x21"
Sump: Trigger Systems 34" Sapphire
Lights: 2x - Gen 5 Radion XR15 Pro's
Powerheads: 2x - Vortech MP40QD's
Heaters: 2x - Cobalt 150w
Skimmer: Red Sea Skimmer 300
Refugium: Chaetomorpha and Gracilaria Hayi
Refugium Light: Kessil H80 Tuna Flora
ATO: Trigger Systems 10 Gallon Sapphire
ATO Controller: Tunze Osmolator 3155
Return Pump: Sicce Syncra 2.0

Current Occupants:
2x Dwarf Ocellaris Clowns
2x Black Ocellaris Clowns
1x Purple Tang
1x Blue Chromis
1x Blood/Fire Shrimp
1x Rose Bubble Tip Anemone
8x Trochus Snails
15x Blue-Legged Hermit Crabs
2x Hammer Coral (Splatter Green and Teal)
1x ORA Red Goniopora
1x Green Frogspawn
1x Green Base Toadstool
1x Cyan Birdsnest
1x Green Stylophora
1x Kenya Tree
1x Purple/Green Galaxea

Here is a pic of the purple tang under moonlight lighting - Sorry for it being a little blurry, my camera is not the best.

Nice setup! Love 75 gallons, the perfect size for someone who doesn't have room for a big tank, but wants more than what a nano can provide. It's what I'm running as my main display currently.

Soooo, its been quite some time since I have updated this thread on how my tank is doing and the progress that I have made…so, since I posted my tank build back in April of 2021, I thought it would be a good idea to post an update now a year later.

Here is an overall picture of my tank. It is definitely coming along nicely. I have added a little extra equipment, not much, just a reefbright strip and UV sterilizer since I had a little Dino outbreak last year. However, all is well now. I haven’t seen a dino under the microscope for a couple months now so I plan to take the UV sterilizer out soon.

Also, since my Birdsnest( and all the little frags that have broken off the main colony and glued in random areas), Monti and Stylo have been doing very well, I decided to finally get my first acropora frags :)

Here is a close up pic of the three I got. I really hope I get good growth on these like I have with the Stylo, Monti and birds nest!
