I work at an LFS and we got a coral shipment today with a tiny mantis on it! Soild red and probably 1/2inch in size. I would love to take it home and raise it. I was going to start with a breeder box in my current tank till the new tank up and going. I’m looking for help identifying the type and any tips for a mantis this tiny!

If you can get a macro lens, it’s really helpful with getting detailed pics. Do you know where the shipment came from? It would narrow down the species a lot if you do

I will ask my manager! And I unfortunately just have my iPhone 11 camera. :( He also escaped from the nursery box so we shall see how long it takes before I catch him again!
