I have a a sand sifting sea star in my tank. I have a 30 gallon and the star is a bit big for my tank (because the tank is thin but from the two bottom legs it’s only 3.5 inches). I bought yesterday and I think I’d rather have two smaller. Should I split it manually? I have iodine to provent infectoins if you say to split.

Thankyou I think I over estimated the star it is doing good sifting sand and moving around but once I see amamos smaller ones I’ll make the switch.
