I’m considering adding a marine betta (Calloplesiops altivelis) to my reef tank and wanted to get some first-hand feedback. I know they’re gorgeous and have that unique predator look, but I’m a bit unsure about their reef compatibility.

Specifically, I’m curious about:
- How “reef safe” they really are – do they bother corals, shrimp, or other small invertebrates?
- Their behavior around other fish, especially small or timid species.
- Any feeding quirks or challenges in a reef environment.
