Hi guys,
Any of you using Marine Color dosing pump?
As I have to increase the daily KH booster dose, I decided to change from 1 to 2 cycles a day and set working hours from 4am to 7.00am.
However 2days after doing so, I noticed that my KH was dropping which shouldn't have been the case as I increase the dose.
I therefore checked if the pump was dropping a dose at 7am and saw that nothing happened :(

According to you, with this setting at what time should the 2 cycles start? 4am and 7am? or something totally different?
I tried this morning to move back to 1 cycle and it worked ok as before. However now, this single cycle increase KH by 0.6 this is why I'd prefer to split it in two.

Hi i am using same dozer. Just giving example. I am dosing 80 ml day to keep constant of 8.3 kh. Now i split it in 10 dosages starting from 1 am to 23 pm. It is better to have more separate dosing then one big one. As for the doser working like charm 2 years now 24/7. What are the other paramethers ? Kh and ca depends alot of mg which keeps them stable so little twitching and you will be fine.

Did you calibrate it as it is described ?

Well you need to make at least 30 min gap between every pump. Example pump1 00:30, pump2 1:00, pump 3 1:30. Stop time pump 1 22:30, p2 23:00, p3 23:30. At least i made it this way. To calibrate it right you need to hold up arrow button till it drops first few drops in calibrating glass. Then push down arrow to reset all values to 0 and then up arrow till you fill calibration glass to 10 ml. This is method for every single pump. Hope i helped you.
