Looking amazing! Are you dosing 2 parts?
Thanks, not yet dosing 2 part. Water changes and some kalkwasser in the ATO are maintaining Alk and calcium so far. Plan on dosing B-ionic 2 part when necessary .
GREAT THREAD! very clean looking tank! what kind of rock are you using?
It's the Walt Smith 2.1 man- made rock
Thinking of adding a ReefBrite to mine as well. Great progres .

Go for it , they look awesome with the 2 T5 Actinics I run.

Other than SPS Euphylia have always been some of my favorite corals. Picked up a couple of nice Hammer's, the "Splatter" Hammer is really nice and they glow underneath the Reefbrites but I can't get a good pic. Here's one under the T5's

Tank seems to be settling in nicely. Acro's are starting to color up and grow. Pretty happy with the progress. I'll try to post an updated picture later.

Here's an IPhone pic from today. I had some issues with the barebottom look at first but it's starting to grow on me. At one point I actually bought a couple of bags of Reefflakes and was going to add them to the tank but changed my mind.

It really is nice not having to worry about sand being blown around, getting all over coral, rocks etc. All the detritus accumulates in the same couple of spots and is very easy to syphon out and keep the tank basically detritus free. Never realized how quick that stuff can build up because you never see it with a sandbed. With the barebottom you see every little bit.

Been loading up on the corals I see! Looks good. I'm considering going BB but not sure I could deal with the look.

Coralline seems to be really taking off all of a sudden , I think the bottom will look better when it's completely covered. Here's some pics from today

Looking good! Did you change your bulb selection? These pics look a little whiter than your previous ones.

I picked up some cheap gel filters off of EBay that help to cut out the blue. I'm running 5 Blue+, 2 Coral+ and a purple+ I'd like to try a couple of the E5 Blue Pop bulbs but these bulbs are all pretty new.

Finally got a decent pic. It's of my Scoly so I have to post it. Wish I knew what I did so I could do it again Lol. My Acro frags are looking good too but I'm terrible at taking pics. Here's the Scoly. Cool coral, first one I've ever bought.

Awesome tank m8.
About how much did you spend on this system?

Thanks! You know to be honest I'm not sure I want to know what the total is for everything.....the tank and the stand alone was 1K. You can take it from there because I don't want to
