Are there any corals that will do good under the Marineland led strip light? I know it's standard but I really wanna get one. If not I'll just keep saving[emoji25]

It's a 75 gallon tank and it's 20 inches deep
I'm not really sure where the model number is.
got it. Id def set it to full and probably have a longer photoperiod.
Id see if you can find out the model If its a super bright model your kinda ok. Like the tank above you could put zoas (get cheap testers) mid way up. The bottom could be struggle. Id get cheap zoa tester there too, then most stuff marked low light. Easy sps would be fine IMO. montis some birdsnest.

+1 on this. You could probably get away with that but would only be able to have softies..

I would buy the SB reef light and use the tank mount. It's about the same price and a much brighter light

not softies. Some leathers are softies and like 300+ par. So if we guessed on picture above id bet the sand is 25-75 par and the water's surface is 300 or 400. so midway in the tank is 100+ or so, perfect for that torch and some zoas..

edit.....thus the easy montipora SPS and birds nests i recommended...

Be careful starting the Radions after your tank is used to the Marineland LEDs, you can burn up some corals very fast. I wouldn't go any higher that 30-40% peak power for at least a couple of months depending on the lenses that are installed on them. Just a FYI;)

Yea ive been reading up on them. You can do acclimation mode and start at say 25% and ramp it up to desired % slowly over a matter of weeks to months

There is a reef version of the marineland lights. I think different color wavelength. Also check out the maxspect leds. Sometimes ypu can get a decent price when the online stores have 10-20% off sales.
