I know that I can't add any other clowns with my maroon pair, but can I add other types of fish with them?

Thank you. The female is very protective so I wasn't sure. Thank you!

yeah your right on the no clowns but the maroons may be aggressive tworads other fish especially if you have male female pair it could get ugly

I would be very weary of adding any other fish. Many maroons reject any other inhabitants whether it is fish, coral or even your hand. What size tank do you have and do you have anything else in the tank?

They will be going into a 50 gallon tank. It is the pink tank thread that I have on here. Would it make a diff. if I add other fish first then add the pair?
