Looking for input on marvin the martian acro. Is this a hardy acro or more difficult to keep for everyone? Just bought a really nice one from TCK and seeing two small spots peeling possibly. Been in the tank for several days, in about 300 par with high flow. Could too much flow cause this? Most of my acros are doing well, tank is matured.

How old is the tank? What are your parameters?

Acros like flow as long as it's not getting direct flow hit with the power head

It's definitely mature. I have plenty of acros that are doing well. Just curious to see what folks who have Marvin the Martian have experienced. It's a really nice frag. Definitely getting strong flow but polyps are waving both directions and were almost fully extended by the second day.

I won two small frags from TCK auction wins. It's a slow grower for me. Hardy at the very least. They will be really bushy when in the right spot for flow. It's a great canary in a coal mine for flow issues.

Thanks for the input, PE for mine was excellent from the first day, very shaggy by the second day. Though I did find the two areas that look like stn. Will have to wait and see
