Well, few more huge updates. Finally finished the frag tank got it all painted and ready to move inside to it's finally resting place and I made it about 3" to big to slide pass the computer desk. So with the help of the beautiful wife we had to move the computer desk out about 8' and slid the stand in place. Got the plumping all hooked up my dj switch installed doors painted and hardware bought(need to mount them) need to figure out a way to hang my reef breeder led to the AI rail system still. Bought a nice pair of phantom clowns but I had to split them up with my snowflakes from the nano tank since the female was bullying the male around to the point of him hiding under a lil rock. So the bigger phantom is in there with her so far I placed a small zoa frag in the 120 and I'm going to start moving over some of the cheaper zoas to the new tank.

Well, sad to say but I did my first water change on Wednesday since setting this tank up. I haven’t really done anything special to it or anything but have a few updates. Couple pics of the frag tank and the reef breeder led onto of the AI rail mount. Couldn’t find any bolts for it so zip ties came handy for it. Few pieces I’ve added so far. Couple of indo torches and interstellar shroom.

Man it’s been quite awhile since I’ve really done anything with the tank besides a few water changes. Yesterday I finally decided after having an apex classic sitting on my frag tank stand for 5 months I would switch out the jr. Tackled that and of course nothing wanted to work after so had to play with different things to get it to work right. Hopefully I figured it out or coming home from work today is going to suck. Come to find out the main reason I wanted the apex is to control my halides and t5 and those are coming on or off automatically.
Also bought a jebao ow-25 to switch the jebao pp20 which was way to big for the tank. Going to be taking a few pics today and posting but here’s a few from yesterday with all the lights on.

And of course the helper pup who’s was making everything harder working on the ground. Lol

Well, asked my closes LFS prices on a few tangs and ended up picking up a decent size yellow eye kole tang for a huge steal and a nice juvenile vlamingii tang. Son came with me and wanted a cleaner shrimp, and wanted to try out a cheap green acro to see how it does in the tank.

Think I finally fixed my apex problem with the timing being off on the controller and not matching what it says on my app it wasn’t turning on the halides and t5 automatically. Now just need to finish with the rats nest below and make it look better. Plus the halide ballasts are off the ground and not laying on top of each other now either. (Post #47)

I really should get some of my electrical stuff off the floor, nice work! ;)
It such a pita to do. I can’t give enough credit to the guys who do all the wiring management full time. Lol hopefully I’ll be able to work on the tank today or tomorrow.
Going to see how much water evaporations I’ve got as well. Filled my 20g tank up to about 15g and going to see how long that last now that all the lights come on automatically.

So finally got a round to doing my water change. Only been mixing it for 4 days now. Lol did that and ordering an acrylic frag rack from hdcorals to put in the frag tank to make it look better than the white egg crate. Excited about the craftsmanship and quality I’ve seen them do. Went ahead and added the jebao ow-25 to the right side of the tank. The pp-20 was way to big and had it for sale but changed my mind when I started mixing salt so now it’ll be my mixing pump. Zoas are starting to look better. Still have a few that are semi-open closed hopefully with another water change I’ll be able to fix it for good. Or I’m thinking of adding sand to the tank to help everything. Still tossing that into the air. Probably should test my water today when I get home. Also trying to get all the racks out of the tank or move them from the front. Should be able to move them all today.
Added fts on the 1st page along with an update of livestock or some I should say. Probably do zoa today.

So had my JF my Miami chalice recede on me recently so I tested the water
Temp 79.4
Salinity 1.026
ALK 8.9
CA 440
Nitrates 0
PO4 16 with the Hanna phosphorus ULR

Can’t think of anything else unless it got stung by another chalice.

Not sure what it could be unless it got stung by the toxic pie.

Some get on and some sting, I have had more than a few incidents.

Thanks. It just really sucks. I got a steal for it but hate to lose it. All my other chalices are doing good. That’s the strange part. I did place the frag in my frag tank and we’ll see if I can get it to turn around.
