Maximum size of Longfin Bannerfish? (H. Acuminatus)

LiveAquaria say 8.5”, SaltwaterFish says 9”, WWM and Blue Zoo and some other academic sources all say 10”. What is the maximum size of this fish?

Also would love to hear other people’s experiences with this fish in terms of temperament, feeding, hardiness and disease resistance. Is H. Diphreutes smaller?

Thanks. Welp, looks like it’s gonna be too big for my tank. After some thought, I’m not comfortable with any fish that can’t swim at least 8 full body lengths in my tank.

I was originally considering it due to LA’s listed size of 8.5”.

So it looks like I’ll be getting one after all. It’s just such a beautiful, irresistible fish. Hopefully it’ll be fine if I introduce it before the Tangs.
