Awesome thank you for your response I appreciate it! so for model on the WE you chose the "gyre 350" I was looking at the smaller version 330 and at the top of the tab for pump model on WE I see Gyre 130/230/330 do you think that setting would work with cloud xf330? what adaptor are you using for the WE?I’m running two xf350 cloud edition on my wave engine… no issues. Running pump only models, and set up as xf350 in wave engine
Yes, the 130/230/330 should be the correct setting…Awesome thank you for your response I appreciate it! so for model on the WE you chose the "gyre 350" I was looking at the smaller version 330 and at the top of the tab for pump model on WE I see Gyre 130/230/330 do you think that setting would work with cloud xf330? what adaptor are you using for the WE?

Hi. Can you please let me know if using the Hydros Wave Engine v2 to control the gyres, will it offer the same features/control options as the maxspect cloud controller? Also, would I need 2 adapters to attach each gyre to the x wave? I apologize as I have none of these items and this info will really help me decide which way to go. I’m considering a pair of the 350’s vs a pair of MP-60’s for my new build 96” long x 30” wide x 25” tall build that’s coming soon. My goal is mixed reef. It would be interesting to hear your take on these 2 options as well. Thank you very much for your help!I’m running two xf350 cloud edition on my wave engine… no issues. Hi..sorry for the late response…I’m not on r2r very often…I honestly don’t have any experience with the maxspect cloud controller, I have only run them on the wave engine controllers from hydros. … I do feel the hydros is more than adequate as far as control of the gyres. My tank is similar in size. 72x30x24, and I only run the gyres at approximately 45% and have more than adequate flow from them. Sorry it’s not more info, but hope it helps.Hi. Thank you! I guess at the end of the day, there’s a number of ways to set up some good flow. I wrestled with this choice and ended up going with some Tunze’s.
