Took my gyre pumps apart to clean them and apparently lost a small white piece to the pump that goes on the end of each side and I am not sure if I can run the pump safely without it. Does anyone know what this part is called or if it is a necessity, and how can I find one?

Thanks so much

Which version of the gyre pumps is that? It looks like it's the ceramic bearing and is necessary for operation. You might be able to find the appropriate part here:

All great responses!! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. So, after tracking down the box in storage, there were actually extra pieces in there that fit like a glove. That website is very helpful to have going forward though. Thanks again everyone! :)
