@Jeff@CoralVue I saw that the light was posted up on the CoralVue website finally. But when I go to purchase it says I have to find it at a store. It lists some local vendors, but none of them have it. So now what can I do??
Will they be on sale from the CoralVue website? Or will I have to try to find it locally?Soon ... very soon! These aren’t available just quite yet . We do have them posted on the website in preparation :) ;)

Hello! Thanks for your interest in the JUMP series. We just put the lights up in preparation for their arrival. They were supposed to arrive tomorrow, now it's looking like Friday or over the weekend. Assuming that's the case, we'll make an announcement to our retail partners on Monday so they can begin placing orders. I imagine, if everything does smoothly, you'll start seeing stores announce them next availability next week.
CoralVue primarily does B2B sales. The JUMP line will not be available to purchase directly from us, the distributor. I know it's sometimes unclear what items are and are not available to buy direct, but we are working on it. We gave the site a facelift not long ago. Since then, we've been fixing bugs, refining checkout, and basically just making sure everything works. Now we're transitioning back to fun front-end fun stuff! The work never ends.

So far, this light is a pain in the butt to purchase. I thought I purchased it back on 9/24 when MarineDepot listed it on their website. They said it would be shipped directly to me thru CoralVue, which was fine with me. But now MarineDepot just informed me that CoralVue has now decided to tell them that the light will have to come from Marine Depot and not shipped to me from CoralVue. So now I have to wait untill CoralVue ships, MarineDepot gets, and then MarineDepot ships to me. I've looked around locally, but nobody has it either. This is so frustrating it makes me want to almost cancel my order and buy another AI Prime. Get it together CoralVue.
I apologize for the confusion. I wouldn't know for sure without speaking to their purchasing and/or customer service departments (which I am happy to do, let me know), but it sounds to me like maybe they were planning to set them up as a drop-ship item and then changed their minds and decided to stock them in their own warehouses. The latter is more profitable for the merchant and beneficial to the customer because, especially for a store like MD, they often ship orders the day you place them or the following business day... so you get stuff quickly. These are brand new items that just arrived in the United States.
As the distributor, we receive them from the manufacturer and then distribute them to our network of stores and other aquarium-related businesses. Everything is unfolding just as it should be, it just sounds like the disconnect was in the communications you received from MD. If you provide me with your order #, I can ask them if you would like and try to get an ETA for you. I am checking with MD's account manager here at CV to see when their order was shipped. That way, I can see the estimated delivery date, ask MD how long it generally takes to receive an order and place the merchandise into inventory, and we'll know from there approximately when your order will arrive.
Thank you for your patience in the meantime. I think you'll be pleased with the light. It is more powerful and costs less (once you factor in the tank mount) than the Prime. It has the same form factor as the Ethereal, which at the time, produced the most attractive, well-blended LED lighting I'd ever seen. I am excited for the JUMP as it's right in my price range as well.
I agree. I was just frustrated. It's a new light and distribution takes time. I'm still looking forward to getting it, as I think it will work well on my cube.
