I will be getting 2 maxspect xf230 gyres with and advanced controller and was curious if anyone runs 2 on their 72" tank. I have a 120 long that I will be putting them in. I currently have a xf 150 one one end but it doesn't seem to be sufficient enough to reach the whole length of the tank. If you do run 2, what is your placement and control settings? Thanks!

I have 2 XF 230s on a 48 inch tank. I run them just under the water on each end. I would suggest bigger pumps though. I also have 2 XF 350s and they move a lot more water.

What % do you run them at?

230s 70-80% 350s 30% But that is more water velocity. The bigger pump moves more volume farther across the tank. I bought them to go in an 8 foot tank that isnt here yet.
