I have a duo maxspect xf350 which has been running on alternating ocean gyre mode for a few months. But now one pump was making noise. I pulled it and took it apart. Not much by way of gunk. The noise continued and now it just stopped working. I checked to see of I had it back together correctly. And it seems alright. But I can feel it vibrating but it will not work. Any tips? What is making not work?
Also these run as a pair and I'd like to run the other one full time but I do not know how to make the adjustment. If anybody can help please post.

Ceramic bearings in the motor?
The Motor block is a sealed unit with a floating hub/rotor and ceramic "Bearings/bushings" in it. These wear over time and do need replaced. If you havent removed the rotor from the motor block to clean it, thats also a possible cause.

I pulled the shaft out and cleaned the whole thing. Maybe I need a new motor. Definitely still making a noise when running. I thought it was a snail stuck in the impeller but I can't find anything in the impeller. Have read ithers have had noise and cleaning helped. Also people replace the bushings on the shaft.
