I haven't posted here in a very long time but I saw this on my news feed on Facebook and it's a subject that I really love. Here's my entry. I have more clam photos but I don't know if I could post more than one.

It's a few years old and I have since lost my whole tank. I'm in the process of building it back up. Looking at all these photos of clams sure is great and depressing at the same time. I just regret not being able to keep any of them.
Gorgeous!

If you can only post one photo, oh well, I'll never win anyway; my photography skills are lacking. My clam came unhooked from where he was, obviously wasn't happy in that spot. So I made it a place and it hooked up immediately and it seems very happy. I like the two feather dusters around him.

Lisa as many as you want. Keep your calcium alkalinity and magnesium in check you good. May even keep you reef cleaner! Nice maxima.

The coolest clam i ever saw was in that tank. Looked like a derasa but had scutes like a maxima

If thats not a disqualification then why in the original post does it say "-The photo must be of your reef, shot by you, and posted to the threads by you. " ? Just wondering...

Next post in the rules,

"Will also accept actual reef photos shot by you (i.e. in the ocean)."

Hope that clears up any confusion.

Not a problem just thought Id point that out to you... I mean at the end of the day it's a photo comp right? Not a tank comp.

I guess looking threw the glass means "IN" and the tank is big enough to call "THE OCEAN" ?

I guess it is very confusing! maybe I can add 5-10 more pics and call it one ;)

That appears to be an actual reef to me. Sorry if the rules are confusing but I'm not disqualifying anyone.

Geeze got some cry babies in here lol.... I posted my entry pic and another just for everyone's enjoyment, I made that clear in my original post. And I followed the rules with my photo. I don't think it compares to others in this thread so I wouldn't worry about me stealing the show. This is supposed to be a friendly competition, it's not like we are fighting for a huge pot of money or something like that. Relax! have fun!
