My tank has been running for a year and I've had the same fish in there the entire time. Somehow the percola clownfish has become aggressive and is biting my pajama cardinal's tail off! I am so upset! What should I do? I don't have any way to separate them! HELP!!

You could feed more and add a few more fish to maybe spread the aggression
The old why do you keep clowns in pairs axiom? So they beat up each other. To OP, you have one of the less aggressive species but usually if they start to turn into terrors there is no going back. How big is the tank and where is the clown nesting if anywhere?

Clowns are knowingly aggressive and territorial and you mat have to isolate the aggressor in an acclimation box for a couple of weeks and see if it calms down

I do agree with 2 clowns strategy. Also if they are being hosted by something they usually abandon the cruising for bruising behavior and spend most of their time in their host. They are really aggressive around the host but at least they don’t chase people around the tank

If you need one fast drill holes in a Tupperware container and clothespin to your tank
Rectangular ones are easier but I've had to use round ones too.

Great idea! I don't understand why the Cardinal fish isn't hiding from the clown fish! He's just like "la la la" swimming around and then getting bit!

Everybody in love is with the clownfish look like and that's why they get them! Too bad they're so mean to others!
Mine is mean a heck.

She has a new home in my sons bedroom in a WB20. She was not territorial unless a 90 gal tank is to small to. She chased every one in that tank.

I've been to several reefers houses over the last year and two of them I've been two have separate tanks with just clowns in them.

Ill never own another clown again that's for sure.
