Media idea for instant cycle

I just setup a QT for new fishes coming on Tomorrow . But am considering about Media for Ammonia control . 2 matrix bag already in the QT just seeded by Seachem Stability for 2-3 week ( I just afraid dont have have enough bacterial for loading Ammonia ) . So have another Media seeded for 6 week and my friend matrix had 3 year old . But he put 2 fishes before i get matrix am not sure it have a Ich or Velvet in there

So what should i do now ??? 2 matrix seeded for 2 week is that enough for Ammonia control ? Should i have to put more old media and which one of the old media i can choose for extro more ?

Are you planning on medicating in QT? Normally media that can absorb medication is not used in QT.

No this is a sensitve fish so i have a lan to put on QT without med first

I'd get some material from a functioning reef system.

Unfortunately my main tank on the fallow time . So now i only have 2 choose use the Media seeded for 1 month and Media from y friend but i am not sure if they have velvet or ich
