What should I do with my media reactor when I am not running it? Leave the Carbon inside and just unplug it, then plug it back in later? Asking because I am reading that I should run carbon a few weeks at a time.
I have a 125 gallon with alot of soft corals and the carbon helps keep the toxins at bay. I am concerned the stagnant water and carbon and particles inside the pump will go sour in between uses and cause toxins when I restart the reactor pump.
