I'm new here and this is my 20 gallon mixed reef :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:. It's been up for about 2 years and is pretty well grown-in at this point. I'm starting to think I may need a bigger tank...

Current tank info:

- 20 gallon IM AIO
- 2 black box 30 watt leds
- brs pump dosing Tropic Marin Carbo Calcium
- Reef Breeders Prism auto top-off
- 50 watt heater with Inkbird controller
- just the return pump for flow

Corals are a mix of hardy lps and sps, with a couple soft corals still hanging around that haven't been crowded out yet. There are five fish: 1 bangaii cardinal, 1 possum wrasse, 1 tailspot blenny, a yellow watchman goby, and a (rarely seen during the day) yellow assessor basslet. There are also a few snails and hermit crabs for the cleanup crew.

As you can tell, this is a very simple setup. I'm a pretty lazy aquarist, and I find that for me, less equipment equals less complication, and I'm all about that. I do water changes about every week to two weeks, and feed frozen and dry food pretty heavily. The corals in the tank aren't anything special, but with my style of reefing, I needed something that could still survive despite me :grinning-squinting-face:

I'm hoping to use this thread as a way to keep tabs on how the tank changes and (hopefully) improves over time.

Haha no steroids but I do feed the tank very generously. Not all of that growth happened in just two years either. Some of the corals were transferred from another tank that I had set up for about a year prior. For lighting I have one AquaKnight 30watt led and one Nicrew 30watt led (don't remember the exact version). They're both running at 100% for about 9 hours (plus a ramp-up time)

+1 on the light! That is crazy growth.
One is the 30 watt Aquaknight and the other is a Nicrew 30 watt I think. It's been a few years since I bought the Nicrew one though so I'm not sure if they even make it anymore lol
