Awe your Aussie is pretty! Hey do you have an issue with weight? My Aussie puts on the pounds and I don't know why we have had him tested and my vet still doesn't know why

My aussie is 12 and still skinny as can be. He still has the energy of a puppy for about half the day tho.

I lost my Aussie mix in 2015 but she would chub out if we weren't strict with her food. Fed her Purina Overweight management prescription diet so she got to feel a bit fuller with a lower calorie load, some people will replace a portion of kibble with green beans to reduce the calories.

She got about the same amount of calories per day as our 3lb Chihuahua. Though the chihuahua shook all the time so I think she burned more calories, haha

You should be able to ask your vet for a calorie count to start with, and adjust from there, to maintain the appropriate weight.
