Super cool! I ought to do better... what do you use for a camera?

A Canon DSLR with a L Series 100mm macro lens and also use my iPhone quite a bit.

Here's a Pink Aquadelight I acquired as well. Very rare!

Haha! Just a quick drive north and I'm there.

Another fun to me thing is looking where the growth is from week to week. Here's what I found from last week to this week. Usually there are just subtle changes, but lets me know IF things are still progressing.

Growing out nicely. While I follow the grow out thread, I have been lax at watching who seems to be leading.

Far be it from me to say anything but you totally left off the arrows showing the encrusting growth.

I'm just really happy with the progress in such a young tank. Kind of surprised my corals are growing so well. In the end if I'm competitive in the contest, it's a win for me.

Totally missed those bottom arrows. I sit in the lanai over 90% of the time and encounter a pretty severe glare off the screen. Some of, if not most of, that glare is a reflection off of my bald head!

Great though. I've been keeping on eye on both and they seem to be growing at identical rates. Here's a side by side.

Maybe I ingested too many halluconigens but those two look to be the exact same picture with some color manipulation. I am starting to feel that the joke is on me. You dirty rat.

I ought to get an actual camera. I just wish someone made a guide as to a general "this camera and this lens will get you through a lot of situations as far as family photos and such, and this lens is what you should get for coral macro photos." Guide for stupid people. Stupid regarding cameras that is. I know that macro means close up, and blown up. I think. Besides that, I only use the pro setting on my s26 ultra to manually focus hahaha

That's where im at. I pressured @Red_Beard into it that way I could have an arch nemesis. As long as I beat him in 1 out of three, I'll mark that as a W. I dont even have to place in the growout.

That's why I never get mushrooms on my pizza from the local place. Jimmy looks like a complete burnout but hes really nice to me and my wife thinks he wants to be my friend. I dont want to have him "hook me up" unbeknownst to myself and wake up to me taping a spatula to my son or something.

If you can take pictures in RAW format and use a program like Lightroom, you can really do a lot with that. I've seen some incredible phone pics on here. Also, I prefer using a yellow/ orange filter on my lens to cut the blues. My goal when I edit photos is too be a similar in color and vibrance that I see when looking at the tank.

Is light room an app I can get for my phone? Or a computer program I need to download my photos into?
