Awesome shots man!

Did my first ICP with the tank. Tank is just over 6 months and wanted to see how things looked.

The only real surprise to me was the aluminum. Can that be coming from some bio blocks that were from a tank I got used about 10 months ago? Also, I was not using any product like Phosguard at the time that has aluminum.

I have heard of bio-blocks leaching aluminum more than a few times. However, I do not remember if it is a specific brand or an across-the-board problem.

The move to to supplement my alk with Sodium Hydroxide continues to work well. My alk consumption along with PH continue to rise without my alk getting out of whack. Currently dosing 175ml per day of it from 130ml about a month ago.

Thanks. I've read the same but who knows what brand mine are. Probably don't need them as I have a tone of rock in the tank and sump. I may just pull them.

Thanks. He's been sitting in the same spot since a first saw him so easy to enjoy. Really cool watching him grabbing food that floating by.

I think it's across the board on the white ceramic biomedia.

Same. I can't remember the specific brand either.

I want a tang gang in the worst way. Gonna have to upgrade soon.. beautiful photography!
Thanks and they are my favorite fish to watch. Very active and always doing something.

Any chance you want to be my photographer too?
Haha! Just a quick drive north and I'm there. 😆

Another fun to me thing is looking where the growth is from week to week. Here's what I found from last week to this week. Usually there are just subtle changes, but lets me know IF things are still progressing.

Seems like it is filling out and the color is improving!!
Thanks man! The color may just be lighting at the time. Color has been great since I put it in there without much change to the naked eye.
