Wanted to improve my PH so I ran a line from outside to the skimmer. Started helping quite a bit.

In my quest to continue finding ways to organize while trying to make the most of out of the limited cabinet space, I came across these small shelves/ trays on Amazon. They are 15" X 4" with a lip on them. I'm putting a couple on them on the cabinet door. Fits a more than I thought. There were only 6 for $20.

I have my flow dialed in pretty good for both sps and my lps. It can get pretty tricky but happy with the results. Looks like the corals are happy as well. Using two Orbit 4's on each side and 4 Nero's on the back wall. The Nero 5's on the ends and Nero 7's toward the middle.

Hello all.

I was pretty heavy in this hobby from 2008 - 2010 when I had to tear it all down and sell it due to an out of state move. I have 180 mixed reef along with a 48" X 24" X 12" shallow reef/ frag tank, and a 58 gallon cube all plumbed together. Living in Orlando, FL I had a ton a LFS's near me that help fan the flames of this addictive hobby. Bought a lot of stuff from WWC when they were just a couple of years into it and had lots of nice stuff. They actually came to my house and bought everything from me including tearing the tank down when I had to move. Heart breaking to see it all go.

Fifteen years later, for my birthday earlier this year, my wife suggested I get a tank and start it again. I didn't know if I'd get into it again so I purchased a RS 170G2. Shortly afterwards I purchased a used RS350G1, and a month later a new RS425G2. She told me to go BIG right from the beginning, but of course I didn't listen. She was right and a couple of weeks ago I too delivery of a WB 230.6. Love the tank and love the 6' X 2' X 2' format like I had back in 2010.

I've been reading lots on here and catching back up on what's new and different. You guys on here are a wealth on knowledge. THANKS!

For now, I will post a couple of pictures of back in my glory days of my tanks and shot of the new one. I hope to keep this updated as i start my reefing journey again.

Old tank 2008 - 2010.

Beautiful and very nicely done — following along!
Thanks man. I’m really enjoying getting back into it. My next if I do one will be a monster like yours downstairs.

It's been 30 days today since I transferred everything over to this tank. I'm ecstatic that most everything acclimates so well and have not had any uglies from the move. The reef gods have blessed me or I'm just one lucky SOB. 😀 Hopefully everything continues doing well, but as anyone that's been doing this for some time knows. an issue is always around the corner that needs to be dealt with. Quick pic of the day.

Quick update.

Added a Neptune Dos QD for auto water changes. I was doing a couple of gallons a day for a couple of weeks and things were looking nice so I decided to automate. Doing 1% (1.7 Gallons) per day with net gallons of 170 gallons in the system.

Also, very happy with the Reef Octopus skimmer. I've had Bubble Kings for a while but the two I have is too small or too big. Went with the Elite 200 INT on this system and it performs great!

Nice build brother!
Definitely following this!
Thanks man. And congrats again on tank or reefer of the month!

I just got a Trident and watched your video on calibration. Thanks for that! I'm loving the Trident and agree with you that it seems very accurate.
