Moved a couple of my probes (PH & ORP) last night from the back chamber to the return chamber of the sump. Easier to get to to clean and I think I'm getting a more accurate reading with the better flow. Wish I can get my PH up some.

I love the pictures and those that post lots of them to actually see what they are saying about whatever topic being discussed. Might change my title to Photo Journal instead of round 2

Haha, thanks. Saw your post about the office fish. Didn't respond as you had a bunch already. I'm more in the camp that something else happened. Dirty hands, too much food at once, somebody spraying a lot of something near that tank, etc. Can't rule out the candles though. Sorry to hear.

Thank you very much! I really do appreciate that. I had to get this smaller tank rolling so I could prove to myself that I was ready for one like yours! I dont know if I would ever stop looking at it though. Lol

Yes, the more pictures the better! It's fun to watch the nicer tanks like this evolve and change over time.

Just went to the LFS and picked up this tri-color acro. It's pretty big and was only $45! Here's a picture right after a put it in the tank. I will take better picture once it settles in.

I don't think you can find a coral like that, that size, for only $45 at any LFS near here. That's Voodoo, man!

Just went to the LFS and picked up this tri-color acro. It's pretty big and was only $45! Here's a picture right after a put it in the tank. I will take better picture once it settles in.

Wow! $45 for an instant show piece!? That's frag price. Gorgeous purple on this one. Im excited to see what you turn it into, especially since it's already a 10.

@JumboShrimp and @kingranch2003 . What my acros wanted. The tank really liked when I tuned and turned up the flow. I took the vid as I was feeding to see how fast the food was flying around.

This one was at only $60 but since I shop there a lot he discounted it for the $45. I didn't even ask. Great bargain!

$60 was a great price before the discount even! That's a good business practice. You really build a loyal customer that way, and obviously the quality is there.

I just realized there was a video! There's no arguing with this. Some may be surprised by how much flow is blasting this acro, but look at the polyp extension.... Good grief you've nailed the flow.

Stalker alert!

I've been stalking, er, um, watching your thread ever since you showed up over on @skey44 's build thread. So, I guess I've been standing in the shadows for about a month, or so, now. It's been a test for me and I must admit that keeping my mouth shut for so long has impressed even me. (There are a couple other reefers following you that will attest to this.) Especially because you are really killing it and have such a nice system. However, after seeing the post above about paying $45 for that frag, I can no longer keep quiet. It's so nice to see that there are still places out there that aren't trying to completely rip people's wallets from their pockets. Unfortunately, in recent years, these have become so few and far between that I just had to say something. It helps restore my thoughts that there are some great LFSes still in action. Thanks for sharing.
