I already know the answer but figured I’d check. Dr. Reef sent two juvenile female melanurus wrasse‘s. Believe incase one didn’t make it in shipping?

They were best of buddies hunting rocks together the first day. Yesterday I didn’t see one all day. Must of been hiding in the sand. Now this morning once the second reappeared it was full chaos. The one is constantly charging the other that finally reappeared. Assuming best bet is to try and remove one and rehome it? Assuming they will never get along and will resolve in one killing the other? If there’s no hopes and mirrors etc won’t help then gotta do what’s best for each other :(

Maybe re home one, wrasse can be very aggressive in our aquariums since they can’t escape. It can be good practice to keep one so this doesn’t happen. I have a six line and a cleaner wrasse in a 105g tank. Occasionally the 6 line will chase the cleaner however it’s not often. I often think I need to re home however after adding more rock and re aquascaping that aggression has gone down.

This isn't the first time I've read of Dr Reef sending extra fish and it being a problem. I get the logic behind it but I don't agree with it because not every one can accommodate fish they did not order. It seems like more of a cya move so he doesn't have to cover the cost of a replacement if there is a DOA but that's JMO at it may be a great thing
