When is it time for a mercy killing? Have a lubbocks wrasse in qt with 3 others. 3 are doing fine. Wrasse now on side at bottom of tank. He rallied a bit for some food an hour ago but now on side again, sometimes belly up. He is in 2.25 ppm copper power for last 8 days. 100percent water change yesterday. Just don't know how long to let this go on.

Unfortunately, the above post does nothing to help you.
However, @vetteguy53081 and the others in the #fishmedic team can surely help.

Please post video of fish under white light intensity for best assessment. They dont do well in copper and best is chloroquine phosphate.

The "rallying for food" sounds like this could be UNWD:

If it comes to it, here is a post on fish euthanasia:

Thank you Jay for info on UNWD. That is exactly the progression my guy went through. Since im relatively new, i thought the tail droop in wrasses was normal. I moved him to unmedicated water last night but no change .I will euthanize him this morning.
