metal gauges on a rodi unit

So I just bought a new rodi unit after thinking my old one was bad and now finding out it was my tds meter (sad)

But my question is is it safe to use a metal psi gauge before the di stage

I ask this because I know you can't use metal in the tank so this made me think

Most gauges on RO/DI units are liquid filled stainless steel so safe for use in ultra pure water. I would not use a common bronze gauge like found at the hardware store.
