What is the best Metal halide 150 watt blulb for both color and growth?

not sure about 150 watts...step up to a 175 watt reeflux 12k and you'll love it!

Phoenix bulbs imo

I'm running the Phoenix 14k and that is all I have ever run. i like the bulb and it has worked well for me.
I was curious about what people have used and had the best luck with.

I tried the phoenix 14k in their SE 250 watt version, and could not tell the difference between that and the reeflux 12k...seemed about the same...

For 150w, the Phoenix 14,000K bulb is the one to get. It looks great and makes everything pop, other than orange. A Montipora capricornis that is orange in color will appear brown and boring, but everything else looked great under it when I had my angled tank running.
