Is there anyone here at R2R located in Michigan than builds Metal stands? Or does anyone have a go to place for this?

Thanks!

Depending on you budget you can also go 80/20 for the stand:)

What part of Michigan? I'm down around Dayton Ohio and could probably help you out if it's just a basic metal frame.

Bringing this back to the top.
Need a stand build for peninsula tank. Any companies around that build stands and also powder coat?
I did look into framingtech just not sure i want to go that route

Search for a local weld shop or someone who a has a portable and does side work from home. Just make sure they have references or have a current state certification.
It’s funny to see this topic pop up. My wife and I were just talking about this yesterday. In the near future I may possibly be able to do some fab work. I have seen quite a few people as of late looking for steel stands among other welding needs. As the fall/ winter season approaches we are thinking of upgrading our back up generator. Having been a Millwright/Welder for the past 20 years my wife suggested instead of a larger nature gas generator I should look into a welder/generator. I wonder how that seed got planted in her head.

If anyone has contact information for chris please let me know. I appreciate the help everyone thank you

I reached out to Chris Gillean, just waiting on a reply. If there are any other fabricators or people that powdercoat hit me up.

Still need a metal stand built. Bump of the week here

Welding and fabrication shop

Have you contacted local welding shops? I am sure there are lots of them in the Cape Cod area.

I'll search for local weld shops. I'm located in michigan now.
Really hoping to find someone that has build aquarium stands though

Depending on you budget you can also go 80/20 for the stand:)
By the time you figure in the cost of hiring a reputable welder, materials, powder coating, etc, you could easily build an aluminum stand with 80/20 for the same price or less.

I just built a lighting support with 80/20. It's a solid product.

Thanks for all the input. Spoke with Chris Gillean. He will be building the stand for me. When completed ill be creating my new red sea 650 peninsula build thread.
