Hi All

Finishing up a metal stand for a 5 foot 150 gallon. Yes 3/4” plywood and yoga foam going on top before tank. Is the top rectangle 2” square tubing sufficient or should I add some top cross bracing? Thanks!

I would definitely add cross supports, saves worrying if the base ever gets wet, or gives over time.

I would go length wise to help support the long span. You could add one cross brace at the uprights then one down the middle from there.
