I’m guessing this is a bristle worm too.

He’s nice and small. Not at all like that first one.

image.jpg Alright. Tanks been filled for a day now. The water has cleared up and I took my first real tests of everything. I think I need to calibrate the heater. The temp is too high. It’s set for 76 and it’s almost 80 degrees. The room it’s in is rarely warmer than 58 degrees. I dislike heat. I’ll add my results below. Didn’t do the reef tests yet since everything is still cycling. I’m pretty sure I read these right, but seeing color differences is not my strong suit

Perhaps the heater is calibrated properly after all. I stuck in a second thermometer (the first was used and came with the tank) and it’s reading about the same temp as the heater. I’ll stick a third one in later and triple check.

So far everything with the tank has been going great. Have multiple corals in the tank. Setting up reef-pi using robo-tank this week. Just waiting on the the right cable (I had the wrong the one) and the parts to build a dosing unit. Also need into install Steve’s LED retrofit with the iridescence booster and hurricane x controller. Added two clownfish the other week. Both are ocellaris. Ones a longfin black ice (the dominant one) and ones a longfin phantom. Had some problems with aggression from the black ice, but it seems to be ok for the moment. Separated them for a couple days and the black ice mellowed enough she’s no longer tattering fins.

I like how you did not go to high with the rock, leaves room for corals to grow and fish to swim. I did the same with my Biocube. Will definitely be following, looks great

I think this is what I’ll go with for now. Let me know if you have advice about temweaking the aquascape. Again, I’m new and essentially know nothing, not matter how much I read. Always happy to hear more experienced people’s opinions.
Very nice rock work! I will be following
